Ibrahim Alkali Csaa

Ibrahim Alkali CSAA, CIB, CIFA has a comprehensive work experience in the field of Shariah compliance and auditing. Ibrahim started their career in Jaiz Bank Plc as an Internal Shariah Advisor and Shariah non-compliance Risk Manager from January 2013 to March 2017. Ibrahim then worked at the Royal Embassy Of Saudi Arabia as a Translator and Islamic Affairs associate from March 2017 to March 2018. Ibrahim further enhanced their expertise by working as an Internal Shariah Auditor at SunTrust Bank Nigeria Ltd from March 2018 to December 2018. In February 2018, they joined the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) as a Certified Sharia Advisor and Auditor, a role they held until January 2023. Additionally, they served as the Head, Shariah Audit Department at TAJBank Ltd. from January 2019 to March 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Shariah Audit & Compliance at LOTUS Bank, starting in January 2023. Ibrahim Alkali's experience spans across different organizations, showcasing their expertise and dedication in the field of Shariah compliance.

Ibrahim Alkali CSAA, CIB, CIFA completed their Bachelor of Science in Hadith & Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Madinah in 2004. Ibrahim then pursued a Master of Science in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia, which they completed in 2012.
