Tarin Thaniyavarn

Tarin Thaniyavarn has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2007, Thaniyavarn worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader until 2015. In 2012, they had short-term positions at Baring Private Equity Asia and Perella Weinberg Partners as Summer Associates. Moving forward, Thaniyavarn held executive positions at Lazada Group, serving as EVP of Group Strategy and Government Relations, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer for Thailand, and SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for Thailand. From 2018 to 2020, Thaniyavarn was the Country Head for Grab in Thailand. Since 2020, Thaniyavarn has also served as a Board Director at DoHome Public Company Limited. More recently, in 2021, they became the CEO of Ascend Commerce Group and the President of E-Commerce for CP Retail Development at Lotus's. Additionally, they also hold the role of Group Executive Director for E-Commerce at Charoen Pokphand Group Co.,Ltd.

Tarin Thaniyavarn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Thammasat University in 2006. In 2004-2005, Tarin attended the Ivey Business School at Western University. Later on, Tarin pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Finance from The Wharton School, completing the degree in 2013.
