Amelia Brister

Amelia Brister has a diverse work experience in the field of education and library services. Amelia most recently served as the Director of Library and Learning Resources at Louisiana Delta Community College since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a School Librarian for the Ouachita Parish School Board from 2013 to November 2020. Amelia also worked as a Children's Librarian III at the Beaumont Public Library System in 2012. In addition, Amelia Brister has teaching experience, having worked as a Teacher for the Ouachita Parish School Board from 2009 to 2012.

Amelia Brister completed their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General at Louisiana Christian University between 2002 and 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) degree in Library and Information Science at Louisiana State University from 2010 to 2012.
