Scott Hublar has held several roles throughout their work experience. Scott started their career at Bank of America as a Mainframe and Print Operator from May 1993 to July 1995. Scott then moved on to Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare, where they worked as a System Programmer and Client Computing Analyst from August 1995 to November 1999. Following that, they joined Baptist Health System KY & IN as a Cybersecurity Group Leader from December 1999 to June 2004. Scott then worked at Humana, where they held various positions including IT Security Consultant, IT Director - End User Technology & Experience, and Principal Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering from June 2004 to November 2023. Currently, Scott is working as the IT Director - Infrastructure & Cybersecurity at Louisville MSD, starting from November 2023. Throughout their career, Scott has showcased their skills in senior IT leadership, strategic planning, vendor contract negotiation, department budgeting, staff development, and IT lifecycle management. Scott has also been involved in leading nationwide evacuation of facilities and managing large teams.
Scott Hublar earned their Associate's Degree in General Studies from Indiana University in 1995. Scott went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Sullivan University in 1998. Later, in 2008, they obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Bellarmine University. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence from Capitol Technology University, with an expected completion date in 2023. Additionally, Scott has obtained several certifications in areas such as project management, ITIL foundations, enterprise Linux, and asset management and software delivery.
