Tom Elliott has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Tom began their career as a trombonist with the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1978 to 1983. Tom then joined Westminster Brass in 1976 and performed as a trombonist. In 1987, they became the Artistic Director of a Performance Organization, holding the position until 1993. In 1989, they started working as an Orchestra Director for Lower Merion School District. Lastly, in 2007, they took on the role of Artistic Director for Maestro the Lion, a 501C3 Organization.
Tom Elliott attended The Curtis Institute of Music from 1972 to 1976, earning a Bachelor of Music degree with a focus on trombone.
