Dick Ehrman has extensive experience in water resources management and education. Since February 2009, Dick Ehrman has served as a Water Resources Specialist at Lower Platte South NRD, focusing on water-related issues. Additionally, Dick Ehrman has been an instructor at Doane University since January 1989, contributing to the academic development of students in the field. Dick Ehrman holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1983-1987) and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology & History from Chadron State College (1979-1983).

The Lower Platte South Natural Resources District is one of 23 NRD's that are a multi-purpose, local unit of Nebraska Government for management, development, and protection of the soil and water resources.
