Anastasia Gant Kanegusuku

Anastasia Gant Kanegusuku, PhD, DABCC, serves as the Associate Director of LUMC Regional Core Laboratory and an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and the Parkinson School for Public Health at Loyola University Chicago as of June 2023. Previously, Anastasia completed a Clinical Chemistry Fellowship at the University of Chicago and an IRTA Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on mass spectrometry methodologies for endocrine disorder diagnostics. Anastasia earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Duke University, where significant contributions included teaching and research roles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Smith College, with accolades in microbiology research and the development of assays for coffee-quality metabolites in Peru as a Fulbright Scholar.
