Barry Ko

Barry Ko is an experienced professional in technology risk management, currently serving as the Head of Technology Risk Management at LPL Financial since June 2025. In this role, Barry leads the enterprise-wide IT Risk Management function, focusing on risk governance, cybersecurity oversight, and regulatory compliance for technology platforms, while aligning the IT risk strategy with LPL’s business objectives. Prior to this position, Barry held various leadership roles, including Global Head of Technology Risk at Jefferies from January 2013 to June 2025, and technology risk positions at Morgan Stanley and Deloitte, where Barry worked in enterprise risk services. Barry Ko earned a Bachelor's degree from Miami University, attending from 1992 to 1997.
