Steph Hayes

Steph Hayes has a diverse work experience in the field of HR. Steph began their career at IBM in 2008 as an EMEA Pensions & Benefits 1st Line Ops Manager, where they managed a team of twelve administrators and oversaw HR aspects of people management. Steph then transitioned to the role of Associate HR Partner, where they served as a single point of contact for HR activities for the Newcastle site and provided guidance for the CEEMEA region.

In 2014, Steph joined LSL Property Services plc as Head of HR, where they became a senior HR professional responsible for various business areas within the group structure. Steph developed strong working relationships with managers and employees, applying a tailored commercial approach to managing HR matters. Additionally, they held the position of HR Operations Support Manager, leading a team of HR Advisers who provided guidance and support for employee relations issues and managed cases ranging from basic issues to employment tribunals.

Throughout their career, Steph demonstrated their expertise in handling employee evaluations, designing and delivering training, managing grievances and disciplinary procedures, and leading projects. Steph also showed a proactive approach in identifying issues, creating MI reports, delivering training, and mitigating risks.

Steph Hayes's education history includes various qualifications and degrees in the fields of data protection, employment law, and human resources management/personnel administration. In 2019-2020, Steph attended PDP to study data protection. Prior to that, between 2017 and 2018, Steph enrolled at THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PERSONNEL AND DEVELOPMENT for employment law studies. In 2000-2004, Steph obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Central Lancashire. Before university, from 1998 to 2000, Steph attended Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, where they obtained "'A' Levels." Lastly, Steph completed their secondary education at Haughton Comprehensive, earning GCSEs with a focus on human resource management from 1993 to 1998.
