Daniel Fink II has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and program management. Daniel started their career as a Technical Intern / Cyber Security Analyst at ITT Advanced Engineering and Sciences in 2010. Later, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Cyber Security Engineer, where they served as a Security Control Assessor for the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis, and also as the lead Vulnerability Assessment Engineer for the Vulnerability Assessment Team. In 2015, Daniel worked as an Independent Consultant at MBO Partners, serving as a Security Control Assessor for the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis, conducting independent Cyber Assessments and Authorizations of TS/SCI systems and sites. Daniel also worked at Dependable Global Solutions as a Deputy Program Manager and Vulnerability Assessment Team Lead, handling the day-to-day administration and operations of a classified IT Security program. Currently, they are a Program Manager at LTS. Moreover, Daniel has a background in the United States Army Reserve as a Brigade Signal Officer.

Daniel Fink II has a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from Utica University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Genesee Community College from 2004 to 2007 and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Economic Crime Investigation and Digital Forensics. In terms of certifications, they obtained the following: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in November 2010, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in October 2010, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from GIAC in May 2012, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) from GIAC in September 2013, CompTIA Security+ CE from CompTIA in March 2016, Core Impact Certified Professional (CICP) from Core Security in February 2016, ITIL from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2018, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in February 2019. Additionally, they are currently working towards obtaining the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA, which they are expected to obtain in June 2023.
