Paul Engelen

Paul Engelen is an experienced Safety Expert and Operational Risk Management professional with a career spanning over three decades, primarily at LVNL since May 1989. Engelen's extensive expertise includes conducting investigations on Air Traffic Management (ATM) incidents, implementing Human Factors Analysis systems, and performing safety studies. Engelen has served as a point of contact for changes to the LVNL ATM system and has contributed to various safety committees and performance monitoring groups within FABEC. Additionally, Engelen has held roles such as Senior Performance Expert and Consultant for Corporate Development, providing guidance on environmental legislation. Previous experience includes management of incident investigations and controller roles within the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Engelen also leads the Safety Information Exchange Programme for CANSO, promoting global safety information collaboration.
