Elizabeth Edmiston

Elizabeth Edmiston has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Elizabeth most recently worked at Lucidworks as the Director of Engineering since September 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Senior Manager of Data Science & Analytics and Senior Software Engineer at Lucidworks. Before joining Lucidworks, Elizabeth worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Jacobs Technology from December 2016 to April 2018. Elizabeth also gained experience at Mammoth Data, Inc, where they served as the Vice President of Engineering from April 2014 to June 2016, and as the Manager of Development from April 2011 to April 2014. Elizabeth has additional experience as a Manager of Development at Bull City Mobile from August 2011 to April 2014. Elizabeth began their career in academia, serving as an Assistant Professor at North Carolina Central University from August 1999 to May 2007, where they managed the Accreditation process and taught various subjects. Elizabeth also worked as an Associate Professor at North Carolina Wesleyan College from 1991 to 1999.

Elizabeth Edmiston has a strong educational background in the field of computer science. Elizabeth obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Math/Computer Science from Rhodes College, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Elizabeth then went on to pursue their Ph.D. in Computer Science at Duke University from 1983 to 1989.
