Dan Carruthers

Dan Carruthers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dan began their career as a Sideline Reporter for Time Warner Cable 6 in 2008. Dan then worked as a Production Technician at Marist College in 2008-2009. From 2010 to 2013, they held various roles at Sears Holdings Corporation including Backroom Lead and Operations Manager. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Left Right as an Assistant Editor, Digital Media Manager, and Media Technical Supervisor. In 2016, they joined Magilla Entertainment as an Assistant Editor for "Moonshiners" Season 6. Since 2016, they have been with Lucky 8 TV, initially as an Assistant Online Editor and later taking on roles such as Online Editor, Technical Operations Supervisor, and currently, as the Director of Technology and Operations.

Dan Carruthers attended Marist College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a B.A. in Communications. Their field of study focused on TV and Film Production, as well as Sports Communication. In addition to their degree, Dan also acquired several certifications. These include ACSR-Editing, ACSR-ISIS, and ACSR-NEXIS, which were obtained from Avid Technology.
