Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Lucky Cart

Lamia Benaouali has a diverse work experience. Lamia began their career as a Microsoft Student Partner at Microsoft in 2015. Lamia worked as an Artificial Intelligence research intern at Inria from February 2017 to August 2017. Lamia also participated in hackathons, including The Port Association at CERN in 2016 and 2017, where they proposed innovative solutions for physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment and hospital waste management, respectively. In 2018, they joined Serre Numérique as a Game Developer for the Serious Game Jam, creating a hybrid game to help high school graduates meet their future selves. Lamia worked as a Data Engineer Intern at Lucky Cart from September 2018 to September 2019, focusing on the PromoMatching project. Since November 2019, they have been working as a Data Engineer/Data Scientist at Lucky Cart. Additionally, Lamia participated in the NYUAD Hackathon for Social Good in the Arab World in 2016, where they developed a prototype for an educational app called "Maktabti" to encourage reading among children in the Arab region.

Lamia Benaouali's education history begins with their earning a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Lycée Toufik Bouattoura in 2011. Following this, they attended Ecole nationale Superieure d'Informatique (ESI) from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained an Engineering degree in Information Systems and Technology. Lamia then pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Université Grenoble Alpes from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they attended the Learning Planet Institute, acquiring a Diplôme Inter-Universitaire in "Learning through Play" in the field of EdTech. Finally, Lamia completed their education at ESIEE-IT in 2019, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Big Data.
