Pat Morin

Deputy Scientific Director at Ludwig Cancer Research

Pat Morin has a diverse work experience in scientific research and academia. They currently hold the position of Deputy Scientific Director at Ludwig Cancer Research since 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine since 2017. They have also been a Scientific Advisor at Gray Foundation since 2019. In the past, they held the role of Executive Director, Strategic Alliances at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center from 2016 to 2022. Earlier in their career, they were the Senior Director - Scientific Review and Grants Administration at the American Association for Cancer Research from 2012 to 2016. They also worked as a Senior Investigator at the National Institutes of Health from 1998 to 2012. Their academic experience includes serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from 1998 to 2012 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 1994 to 1998.

Pat Morin received a Master's degree in Biophysics from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières from 1989 to 1990. Later, Pat pursued a PhD in Molecular Biology at Boston University from 1990 to 1994.
