Prong Kongsubto

Prong Kongsubto has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Prong started their career in 1991 as a Researcher at the Florida SEMATECH Center of Excellence, where they conducted various research projects and achieved notable success in developing software tools and methodologies.

In 1996, they joined Alpha-TI Semiconductor as a Senior Process Engineer, where they played a key role in improving and optimizing the DRAM fabrication process and successfully transferring technology from Texas Instruments to a new plant in Thailand.

In 1998, Prong joined TDRI - Foundation of Thailand Development Research Institute as a Research Specialist. Here, they implemented key performance indicators systems, quality management systems, and workforce prediction projects for Telephone Organization of Thailand (TOT). Prong also played a crucial role in achieving ISO9000 certification for 127 service offices of TOT.

From 1999 to 2014, Prong worked at Spansion as the Deputy Managing Director. During this time, they held significant responsibilities and contributed to the company's success.

In 2014, they became the CEO of Silicon Craft Technology Co.,Ltd., where they played a key role in leading the company's operations and overseeing its growth.

In 2018, Prong moved to Lumentum as the Senior Director of Engineering & Quality. Prong currently holds this position, demonstrating their expertise in engineering and quality management.

Additionally, in 2018, Prong also engaged in self-employment as a consultant, coach, and trainer, utilizing their skills and knowledge to provide valuable insights to clients.

Prong Kongsubto obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in microelectronics from Florida Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on microelectronics from the same institute, studying from 1990 to 1992. Prong's undergraduate education took place at King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, where they received a B.Sc. in Applied Physics with a specialization in solid state electronics from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, Prong Kongsubto has obtained certifications in Internal Auditor ISO14001, Lead Auditor ISO9001 & TS16949, and OHSAS18001 from Omnex Inc in 2007.
