Melanie Heath

Melanie Heath has a wealth of experience in higher education leadership, strategic communications, and fundraising. Melanie currently serves as the Strategy Director for Participation at Lumina Foundation, leading efforts to increase enrollment in bachelor’s degree programs. Prior to this role, Melanie held various positions at the Utah System of Higher Education, including Associate Commissioner for Student Affairs and Access. Melanie also has experience in communications and outreach, as well as fundraising in the arts sector. Melanie's educational background includes a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy, an MA in Writing/Publishing, and a BA in English/Creative Writing.
