J. Stephen Pollock

J. Stephen Pollock has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. J. Stephen currently holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Lunar Energy since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tesla Motors as the Head of Channel Sales, Americas for Tesla Energy Products from May 2015 to December 2022.

Before joining Tesla, Pollock served as the VP of Business Development at Clean Focus from August 2013 to January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and managing new channel partners and creating investment opportunities in renewable energy projects.

From August 2012 to June 2013, Pollock held the position of Sr. Director Sales, Residential Solar Solutions at NRG Energy. J. Stephen managed the sales team for the Residential Solar Solutions group and developed the customer channel strategy.

Pollock also worked as the Vice President of Sales, North America at Tianwei Solar USA from September 2011 to May 2012. During their time there, they focused on sales and marketing of the company's crystalline silicon solar modules.

In addition, Pollock gained experience at Suntech as the Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest Region from July 2009 to September 2011. J. Stephen was responsible for managing and developing customers in distributed generation markets.

Earlier in their career, Pollock worked as a Consultant at Advanced Solar Electric, an MBA Marketing Intern at SunPower Corporation, and as a Strategic Planning Manager at IndX Software Corp - a Siemens Co. J. Stephen also served as an Investment Analyst at Siemens Venture Capital, supporting investments and portfolio companies in the optical communications space.
