Ryan Kelley

Ryan Kelley has a wide range of work experience, beginning with their role as Field Gear Editor at Backpacker Magazine in 2011. From 2015-2017, they held multiple roles at North Carolina State University, including Engineering Mentor, Research Analyst, and Makerspace Supervisor. In 2017, they were a New Product Design Engineer Internship at Pentair, and a Nano Extended Textiles (NEXT) Research Group member at NCSU Textiles Engineering. In 2018, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Atomo, Vice President of Product & Engineering at VitalFlo, and Program Manager at Lunar Outpost.

Ryan Kelley has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, a General Education degree from Richmond, The American International University in London, and a Mechanical Engineering Design work study from Zhejiang University. Ryan also holds a Skid Steer Loader Operator certification from Western Canada Fire & First Aid Inc, obtained in July 2014, and the Eagle Scout rank from the Boy Scouts of America.
