John Fisher

John Fisher has a diverse work experience in the banking and real estate industries. John currently holds the role of SVP, Director of Income Property Lending at Luther Burbank Savings, where they have been since April 2021. Prior to that, they held various positions at Luther Burbank Savings, including FVP, Director of Income Property Loan Origination and Income Property Loan Officer.

Before joining Luther Burbank Savings, John worked at Universal Bank as the Vice President, National Sales Manager for the Commercial Real Estate Lending Group from October 2014 to March 2016. John also has experience at Popular Community Bank, where they held the role of Vice President for the Multifamily, Commercial Real Estate, and Construction Lending Group from October 2011 to October 2014.

In addition, John has experience working at the FDIC as an Asset Manager from February 2009 to September 2011, managing a portfolio of real estate and other assets of failed institutions. John also worked at Venture West Funding as a Manager of the Construction Loan Department from January 2006 to February 2009.

Earlier in their career, John worked at Pacific Premier Bank as a Vice President, managing a loan production team, and at Fidelity Federal Bank as an Underwriter. John started their career at Fremont Investment and Loan as an Analyst and Asset Manager.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in income property lending, multifamily and commercial real estate lending, loan origination and underwriting, and asset management.

John Fisher attended Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics from 1988 to 1993. John earned a degree in Economics and studied the field of Economics during their time at the institution.
