Martin E Wohlfahrt

Martin E Wohlfahrt has extensive work experience in the field of biotech and research. Martin E started their career as a scientific assistant at Philipps- University Marburg, Institute of Virology in 2001, where they worked until 2003. Martin E then joined CUSTOS Biotech GmbH as a scientific assistant/PhD student from 2003 to 2003. In 2004, they started working at Fred Hutch as a research assistant/PhD student and later became a postdoctoral research fellow from 2011 to 2013. Martin E then worked as a staff scientist from 2013 to 2017, where they played a leading role in developing and optimizing cGMP lentiviral vector production for Phase I clinical trials. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a senior scientist at Lyell Immunopharma.

Martin E Wohlfahrt earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biology from Philipps-University Marburg, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. Martin E then went on to pursue a PhD in Biology from The Philipp University of Marburg during the same period.
