Amanda Chan

Amanda Chan has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2013. Amanda began their career at Zomato as a Business Development Account Manager, where they were one of the first five hires for the New Zealand team and later part of the London sales team. In 2015, they moved to S2M Recruitment as a Recruitment Consultant, specializing in digital marketing, digital sales, and UX recruitment. In 2017, they joined TRAVLR as a Product Designer (UX) and also founded Foart, a passion project currently on the back burner. In 2018, they became a UX Designer at SEEK, and in 2019 they took on a City Manager role at Ritual.co. In 2020, they joined Fresh Equities as a Product Manager and Product Designer, and in 2022 they began working at both Lyka and Cake as Lead Product Designer and Product Manager, respectively.

Amanda Chan has a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Auckland, where they double majored in Marketing and Management. Amanda also has a User Experience Design Immersive (UX Design) from General Assembly in the field of User Experience. Additionally, they are a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) certified by the Yoga Alliance.
