William Bergen

William Bergen has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. William currently works at Lynk as a Lead Flight Software Engineer since May 2023 and has previously served as a Flight Software Engineer from July 2021 to May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer - Modeling & Simulation at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from April 2016 to July 2021. William also gained experience as a GNC Engineering Intern at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from June 2015 to August 2015, and as a Systems Engineering Intern at Insitu Inc from May 2014 to August 2014. Furthermore, they were an Airframe Subteam Member at Cornell University Unmanned Air Systems from August 2011 to May 2014 and worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Hood Technology Corporation in May 2013.

William Bergen earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University in 2015. William continued their education at Cornell University and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in 2016. William further pursued their studies at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, where they are currently completing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
