POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in driving success for Lyte. This is an exciting opportunity to further grow Lyte in the music industry by securing new business and forging strong client relationships with some of the biggest Festivals & Events in the world.

Sitting within the passionate and committed Commercial Team and reporting directly to Lyte’s Sr. Director of Sales, you will collaborate to source, contact, pitch to clients, and win new business to support the company's financial goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive sales, aggressively expand the customer base, and generate new revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at music festivals, venues, fan conventions, sports, food and wine events, among other ticketed events.
  • Lead in-person client presentations to event teams, including information discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Understanding the needs of prospects as well as their business models in order to communicate with them effectively and craft deals that are mutually beneficial.
  • Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals.
  • Work with internal team members to ensure successful onboarding and implementation for new clients.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams and provide feedback from the field to help shape future development.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 Years experience in a Sales/Business Development role in the Events, Live Music, Festivals, Ticketing, Cashless RFID Travel, Leisure, or Tourism industry.
  • Proven experience in process-driven business development with a knowledge and understanding of sales methodologies and frameworks.
  • The passion, drive, and desire to be a part of a growing team that makes a difference for both the company and our clients.
  • Experience with CRMs and sales software.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial work environment where self-motivated individuals succeed.
  • Exceptional in-person, verbal, and written communication skills are a must (comfortable presenting alone).
