Andrew Nissan has accumulated extensive experience in the field of materials engineering and battery technology through their various roles at companies such as Lyten, Panasonic Energy of North America, Panasonic North America, Tesla, Chevron, and Exponent Failure Analysis Associates. Andrew'sexperience includes positions such as Senior Director of Battery Strategic Sourcing, Director of Battery Technology and Engineering, and Staff Metallurgical Cell Engineer. Nissan's expertise spans failure analysis, quality control, advanced materials research and development, and strategic sourcing in the energy sector.

Andrew Nissan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Material Science and Engineering at the University of California, Davis from 2002 to 2005. Andrew then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Metallurgical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines from 2008 to 2012. Andrew also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Metallurgical and Materials from the State of Colorado: Department of Regulatory Agencies.
