Janel Caruz

Janel Caruz is an accomplished Human Resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Business Leader at Lyten since July 2023. With a robust background in strategic HR roles, Janel has held senior positions at prominent companies including Velodyne Lidar, Inc. as the Director of Human Resources Business Partner, where responsibilities included organizational design and talent acquisition. Prior experience encompasses positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Juniper Networks, Seagate Technology, Western Digital, and Qimonda, where Janel contributed to HR strategy across various functions and supported significant employee populations. Janel holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources & Organization Development from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San José State University.
