Edna Mwendwa Muema has an extensive work experience spanning over 10 years. Edna started their career as a Customer Service Representative at M-KOPA, providing support to customers via calls, SMS, email, and social media. Edna then moved on to roles as Training Lead and Training Manager, where they conducted various training programs for new and existing staff, including customer service skills, product troubleshooting, and personal development. Edna also served as a Senior Manager in Learning & Development and Employee Experience & HRBP, where they designed and delivered training programs and managed employee experience initiatives such as mentorship programs and career socials. Edna later joined Samsung Electronics as a Francophone Technical Customer Service Support representative, providing technical and general product support to customers in multiple languages. Prior to that, they worked as a Facilitator & Trainer at Straight Talk Foundation, conducting comprehensive training programs on gender issues, sexuality, reproductive health, and governance. Additionally, Edna volunteered as an Education & Research Assistant at SOS Children's Villages, where they conducted field research and taught French language to underprivileged children.

Edna Mwendwa Muema has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Kenyatta University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Edna then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Management at the University of Nairobi from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they are studying at the College of Human Resources (CHRM) to become a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), a program they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their academic achievements, Edna has also obtained certifications in Call Center Supervisory Training from Crest Training and Consulting in 2015 and Fire and Safety Skills from Kenya Red Cross in 2011.
