Shakhawat Hossain

Shakhawat Hossain is an experienced Human Resources Specialist currently employed at M.M. Ispahani Limited since September 2016, where responsibilities include planning and conducting recruitment processes and attracting candidates through various platforms. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Training and Development at Sinobangla Industries Limited from April 2013 to September 2016, overseeing recruitment, HR policy upgrades, performance appraisals, and training plans aligned with ISO standards. Shakhawat also has a background in journalism, having worked as a news and feature contributor for The Daily Prothom Alo and as a correspondent for other publications. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Management and a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Comilla University, along with degrees in Geography and Environment from the National University of Bangladesh.
