Simon Sophus Nielsen

Simon Sophus Nielsen has extensive work experience in the tobacco industry. Simon began their career in 1994 as an International Account Manager at PlasPlugs Inc. From 1996 to 1999, they served as an Export Sales & Marketing Manager at The Topps Company. In 1999, they became the Country Manager for Germany at Mac Baren Tobacco Company A/S, where they later held roles as Export Sales Manager and Export Sales Director. In 2010, they were promoted to Commercial Director and served in that position until 2017 when they became the Chief Executive Officer of the company. In 2013, they also took on the role of Chairman of the Board at Sutliff Tobacco Company, LLC. Since 2018, they have served as an Advisory Board Member at Ministry of Snus. In 2019, they joined Nordic Sense as a Member of the Board. Additionally, they have been a Member of the Board at Tobacco House of Sweden AB from 2011 to 2018, and they were the Managing Director and Member of the Board at Johs. Bordorff / P.C. Nissen A/S from 2009 to 2020.

Simon Sophus Nielsen completed the International Business Studies program at Roskilde Business Academy from 1991 to 1993. In 2005, they attended INSEAD and received a degree in General Management through the Young Managers Program (YMP).
