Lloyd Turner

Lloyd Turner has a diverse work experience in the media and sound industries. Lloyd started their career as a Live Sound Consultant/Engineer at Musiccisum in 2013. Lloyd then worked as a Freelance Sound Editor at Pinewood Group Limited, where they were responsible for tracklaying, editing dialogue, and QC testing audio for theatrical releases. In 2014, they joined Kipper Music Ltd as an Assistant Audio Engineer, assisting in recording, editing, and studio maintenance. At Channel 5, they worked as a Freelance Sound Assistant, handling tracklaying, music, and SFX editing. In 2016, they worked as a Media Assistant at Deluxe Media Europe, focusing on DPP metadata compliance and deadline management. From 2013 to 2017, they ran their own company, Lloyd Turner Sound LTD, as Director. Lloyd then joined Visual Data Media Services as a Digital Operator, where they handled video editing, metadata creation, media evaluation, and delivery for VOD and broadcast partners. Lloyd later worked at Da Vinci Media GmbH and Azoomee as a Senior Manager of Digital Operations, leading content delivery pipelines, designing features, and integrating partners. Currently, they hold the position of JR Media Operations Director at Macademia, where they oversee digital operations and ensures efficient content delivery.

Lloyd Turner attended The University of Huddersfield from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Music Technology and Audio Systems.
