Shivani B.

Shivani B. has worked in the data science field since 2016. Shivani began their career as a Data Analyst at Kaplan Test Prep, where they performed qualitative and quantitative analysis on Kaplan-ACT online prep program. Shivani then moved to Metis, where they used MTA Turnstile data to classify stations with more local commuters to help with a political campaign. In 2016, they joined Toyota North America as a Data Scientist, where they supported 6 predictive models used by Toyota to forecast North America vehicle sales. In 2018, they joined Change Healthcare as a Data Scientist, where they developed deep learning algorithms to classify text using LSTMs, RNNs, CNNs etc. In 2020, they joined Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Data Scientist - Computer Vision. Most recently, in 2021, they joined The RealReal as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer. Shivani is currently a Member Of Technical Staff - Data Science at Machinify, Inc.

Shivani B. obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electronics and Computer Engineering from JNTU College of Engineering. Shivani then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mathematics in Finance from the University of North Carolina. Shivani also completed a Nanodegree in Deep Reinforcement Learning from Udacity in 2018 and a Self-driving car nanodegree from Udacity. In December 2018, they obtained a certification in Deep Reinforcement Learning from Udacity.
