Bhargav Patel

Bhargav Patel is an accomplished professional with a strong background in programming, software engineering, and education. Currently serving as a Professor at Cambrian College since September 2023, Bhargav teaches programming in analytics, designed a course on reinforcement learning, and instructs technical math and subnetting. Concurrently, Bhargav has been a Software Engineer at MacLean Engineering, contributing to the development of an autonomous underground mining vehicle since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Laurentian University, where Bhargav completed a thesis on vehicle trajectory prediction, a Software Developer focusing on backend engineering at Acquire, and various positions in software development and consulting at Qlik and Crunch Data. Bhargav holds a Master's degree in Computational Science from Laurentian University, a Micromasters in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from MITx, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from A.
