Alp Yurtsever

Alp Yurtsever's work experience includes being an Assistant Professor at Umeå University since September 2021, an Optimization Scientist at Pendulum Systems starting in March 2023, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from January 2020 to June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Doctoral Assistant at EPFL from September 2013 to August 2019, a Part Time Engineer at Aselsan from January 2013 to July 2013, and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Middle East Technical University from September 2012 to June 2013.

Alp Yurtsever has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics, both obtained from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University in the years 2009 to 2013. Alp then pursued further education and received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer, Communication & Information Sciences from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2013 and 2019. Additionally, Alp Yurtsever had a visiting graduate student experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the year 2018.
