DoD and Federal IC Program Lead at Macro Solutions

Brian George has worked in the IT industry since 1999. Brian started their career in the US Army as the Chief Network Operations/Communications and EW, where they managed a staff of 21 contractors, civilians and military personnel, and was responsible for providing daily system administration and deployment support of 9 separate network environments. Brian also planned and managed a $5 million annual budget. In 2004, they joined Microsoft as a Technical Account Manager, providing support services and support incident management to military and strategic intelligence agencies via Microsoft Premier Services. In 2010, they joined SAIC as the Chief Engineering Architect, and also Macro Solutions as the DoD and Federal IC Program Lead. At Macro Solutions, they were the Program Development Lead for DoD and Federal Intel Business, providing SEM insight during Business Development Engagements, Proposal planning and submissions and Teaming/Business Partner development. Brian also managed Enterprise Business Systems focusing on Enterprise Data Management using Oracle applications, and provided support and consulting to Federal Intelligence Agencies in Enterprise System Management and Design, Virtual and Cloud Architecture.

Brian George has a long and varied educational history. Brian obtained their Bachelor's Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1989, majoring in Aeronautics. Brian then obtained their Master's Degree from Webster University in 2000, majoring in Information Systems. In 2015, they obtained their Master's Degree from George Mason University, majoring in Secure Information Systems Management. In addition to their degrees, Brian George has obtained four certifications: SCRUM Master from Scrum Alliance in 2016, ITIL Master, Service Delivery / Mgt. from ITIL Certified in 2008, Cisco Network Associate from Cisco in 2002, and Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1989.
