Mike Biven

Mike Biven is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at MagicSchool AI since 2024, Mike previously founded and led Approximate Labs as CEO from 2022 to 2024. Additional experience includes holding the Vice President of Operations position at Unsupervised (2017-2022) and managing strategy, talent, and operations as Managing Director at Teach For America (2015-2017). Mike's career began in the education sector as a Manager for Education Technology at DSST Public Schools (2013-2015), followed by a role as a Business Analyst at Deloitte Consulting (2012-2013) and a Team Leader at City Year (2010-2012).
