Ellen Poon

Ellen Poon is a CPA, CA with extensive experience in finance transformation and continuous improvement. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Finance Continuous Improvement at Magna International since January 2024, Ellen previously held the role of Senior Manager for Finance Transformation at Walmart Canada from January 2021 to January 2024, where responsibilities included driving end-to-end transformations and implementing technologies such as SAP-S4HANA and CPM tools. Prior to that, Ellen worked at EY-Parthenon as a Manager in Strategy & Transactions, advising clients during M&A and divestiture processes, and held various positions at EY, including Senior Consultant, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
