Tammy Corn, MHA, MBA

Tammy Corn, MHA, MBA has over 20 years of work experience in accounting and finance. Tammy began their career in 1981 as a Supply Management Specialist First Class (E-6) in the United States Navy, where they managed supply records utilizing governmental fund accounting methods and implemented costing techniques. In 1999, they became a Senior Accounting Processor at Luxottica Retail, where they processed and provided independent LensCrafters optometrists with monthly invoices and statements. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as an Accounting Clerk and Assistant A/R Manager at First Financial Bank and Triplefin LLC respectively, where they processed daily journal entries, monthly general ledger reconciliation, fixed assets system entries, and accounting analysis. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Accounting Consultant at Altaquip LLC via Robert Half Management Resources and Aerpio Pharmaceuticals via Adecco Staffing, USA. In their role at Aerpio Pharmaceuticals, they oversaw research and development clinical project costing, journal entries, month-end closing accruals and post-closing adjustments, bank and general ledger account reconciliation, managerial financial statements preparation, and management of fixed assets depreciation and prepaid amortization schedule(s). In 2021, they became a Senior Accounting Consultant at The Christ Hospital Health Network, where they were responsible for GL account reconciliations, journal entries management, maintaining internal controls, assisting with the budget and auditing process, and FEMA claims projects. Tammy currently works as a Senior Accountant at MAIA Biotechnology, Inc. since 2022.

Tammy Corn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Xavier University - Williams College of Business, where they studied Accounting and Business/Management from 2001 to 2005. Tammy then obtained their Master of Business Administration - MBA from University of Phoenix in Accounting from 2007 to 2008. Tammy furthered their education by completing their Master of Health from Capella University in General Health Administration from 2014 to 2017.
