Steven Fletcher

Steven Fletcher has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media industry. Steven served as the Commercial Editorial Director at Mail Metro Media since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at MailOnline, where they held the positions of Head of Sport from June 2019 to March 2023 and UK Assistant Editor from July 2016 to March 2023. Before joining MailOnline, Fletcher worked as a Publisher at Lincolnshire Media from April 2014 to April 2016. Steven also served as Editor at Lincolnshire Echo from July 2011 to April 2014. At The Nottingham Post, Fletcher held multiple roles, including Deputy Editor from April 2009 to July 2011, News Editor from March 2005 to April 2009, and Crime Reporter from July 2002 to March 2005. Additionally, they started their career as a Reporter at Halifax Courier from July 1999 to July 2002.

Steven Fletcher began their education at North Halifax Grammar School, where they attended from 1988 to 1995. Steven then pursued a BA Honours degree in Politics at De Montfort University from 1995 to 1998. Following that, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from De Montfort University in 1998 and 1999.
