Dave Lasseter

VP Power System Sales at Mainline Information Systems, Inc.

Dave Lasseter has over 40 years of work experience in the technology and sales industry. Dave started their career at IBM in 1980, where they held multiple roles in sales and brand management, with a focus on the utility industry, insurance, banking, and telecommunications. Dave spent over 10 years working on the IBM UNIX product and collaborating with ISV solution companies. In 2000, Lasseter joined Mainline Information Systems as the VP of Power System Sales, responsible for defining market strategy for IBM Power Systems and managing a technical support team. Dave also worked on identifying and partnering with key ISVs and SIs to deliver total solutions for customers, while meeting corporate objectives and having P&L responsibility for the product group. In 2017, Lasseter founded their own consulting company, Lasseter Consulting, where they serve as a Senior Technology and Channel Sales Leader. Dave also operates as an independent Information Technology Consultant, leveraging their expertise in sales leadership, channel management strategies, and technology solutions to achieve consistent revenue and profit targets for clients across all industry segments.

Dave Lasseter attended Auburn University from 1969 to 1974, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics. From 1976 to 1978, they also attended Auburn University for Business Graduate School, although the degree obtained during that period is unknown.
