Lars Johansen

Lars Johansen is an experienced professional in the battery and energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Product Quality at FREYR Battery since October 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing product quality requirements in the development process. Previously, Lars held positions as Product Manager for e-mobility and EV, Project Manager for battery products at Hans H. Schive AS, and Specialist Engineer for batteries at FMC Technologies, among others. With a robust background in lithium-ion and Li-primary battery technologies, Lars has contributed significantly to product management, project management, and supplier qualification, and has been involved in EU projects and standardization committees. Lars holds a Master of Science in Electrochemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has experience in fuel cell and hydrogen technology development.
