Point Focal Afrique at Major Group for Children and Youth

Thierno Abdoul Bah is a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment and human rights, currently serving as the Contact Point for Human Rights at YOUNGO since February 2023. In addition, Thierno has been actively involved with the African Union as a Jeune Hustlers (Plaideur) for the African Youth Charter since December 2020, focusing on promoting the ratification and implementation of youth-related policies across member states. Other current roles include Rapporteur for Guinea at the International Network for Government Science Advice, focal point for Africa at the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth, and Country Director for Guinea at the Global Youth Network. Thierno also holds the position of Executive Director at the Parlement des Jeunes Leaders de la Société Civile Guinéenne, advocating for sustainable development. Educational credentials include a university degree in Law from Université Nongo de Conakry.
