Salvador Orara

Salvador Orara is an accomplished educator and design professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Willamette University and the Technical Team Convener at Oregon Climate Action Hub, Salvador focuses on teaching Extended Reality and overseeing technical platform development. Prior roles include Director of Innovation at the University of Portland, where Salvador launched a campus-wide non-degree program, and leadership positions at AIGA Portland. Salvador has also held key roles at Jaguar Land Rover, leading user experience strategy and design efforts. As the founder of The Rare Studio, Salvador provided innovation strategy and design services, mentoring emerging professionals in the field. Educational credentials include an MFA in Media Design from ArtCenter College of Design and a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts.
