Michael Becker Sondrup

Michael Becker Sondrup has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michael Becker started their career as an Apprentice - Marine Engineer at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they worked from August 1996 to December 2001. Michael Becker then joined ABB as a Facility Manager from March 2002 to April 2003. Following that, they worked at Lyngby Stadion og Svømmehal as a Workshop Manager from October 2003 to August 2007. Their responsibilities included daily operation and management of buildings and building technology. Since September 2007, Michael has been working at MAN Energy Solutions, initially as a Superintendent Engineer and later as the Head of Emission Technology team in the Two-Stroke Operation Department. In this role, they traveled for troubleshooting and follow-up on warranty claims onboard vessels with MAN B&W 2-stroke engines, with a focus on Emission Technologies (EGR + SCR) and engine control.

Michael Becker Sondrup obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from the Copenhagen School of Marine Engineering and Technology Management, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed a program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, earning an electronics engineer degree from Frederiksberg Tekniske Skole, from 1992 to 1993.
