Mercedes F. Oromendia, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. In 2011, they were a Corps Member at City Year. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Graduate Researcher, Student Clinic Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, and Course Instructor at UC Santa Barbara. Mercedes F. Oromendia, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2011. Mercedes then completed a field of study at Universidade Federal da Bahia in 2010. In 2018, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counseling Psychology from UC Santa Barbara. In May of 2020, they were certified as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist by the California Board of Psychology.
