Dave Lipp

Dave Lipp started their work experience in 1997 as a New Business Account Executive at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. Dave then worked as a Manager, Wireless Internet at Bell Mobility from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2003, they were a Senior Manager- Data Marketing at Spark New Zealand. In 2006 and 2007, they worked at Sony Pictures as a Business Development professional. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the Director of Global Business Development at Sky. Following that, they joined NBCUniversal Media, LLC as the Vice President of International- Film, TV & Sports Distribution, where they worked from 2011 to 2019. Since 2019, they have been the Founder of Metcalfe Ventures Ltd., an investment firm that focuses on sports, esports, and entertainment organizations. Dave is currently also working at Manchester United as the Business Development and Strategy lead for Digital Products and Experiences.

Dave Lipp has a diverse education history. In 2021, they obtained a certificate in "Leveraging Data and Technology for Marketing" from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, Dave pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
