Nicola Parry has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. They began their career at Verve People in 2008, starting as a temporary employee and working their way up to a supervisor/executive level. After leaving university, they became a trainee consultant and gained experience as a competent and experienced Hospitality Consultant & Trainer.
In 2015, Nicola joined Manchester United as the Room Manager for the 1878 section, where they focused on staff management, staff development, and training to provide exceptional customer service and create a memorable experience for clients and their guests.
They also took on additional roles at Manchester United, including working as a Hospitality Manager & Staffing Assistant, where they were responsible for training and recruitment. They developed online training and delivered bespoke training sessions to the casual catering team members.
In 2017, Nicola joined Manchester City Football Club as the Room Manager for the Chairman's Club and later for the Tunnel Club Premier, a unique VIP experience that offered behind-the-scenes access, interaction with the first team, and fine dining in a boutique setting.
In 2022, Nicola briefly worked as a Hospitality Manager at Absolute Taste/Food & Drink Wimbledon before moving on to Absolute Taste in 2017. At Absolute Taste, they managed the VIP Driver's Lounge at Silverstone during the summer period as a seasonal placement.
Throughout their career, Nicola has demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, managing staff effectively, and creating memorable experiences for clients and guests in the hospitality industry.
Nicola Parry attended Albion High School, where they completed their GCSE's and obtained 11 A*-C's in various subjects. Following high school, they pursued higher education at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2006 to 2009. During their time there, they focused on English Literature and Critical Theory.
