Sal Alioto

Salvatore Alioto is the Associate Director and Head of Protein Sciences at Manifold Bio since September 2022. Prior to this role, Salvatore served as Principal Scientist at ImmuneID from August 2021 to August 2022 and held the position of Senior Scientist and Scientist at Pandion Therapeutics from August 2017 to July 2021. Salvatore began a career in research as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student at Brandeis University between September 2011 and August 2017, culminating in a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Earlier, Salvatore gained experience as Head Mechanic at Mission Bicycle from 2008 to 2011. Salvatore completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Davis in 2007.
