Sammy Munuswamy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sammy began their career at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, where they held various roles such as Production Engineer, Materials Engineer, and Management Trainee. In this position, they supervised fabrication and heat treatment activities, reviewed engineering drawings, and resolved welding and quality issues.

Later, Munuswamy moved on to The Manitowoc Company, where they held several senior roles. As the Senior Director of Operations, Engineering Technology & Innovation, they were responsible for implementing a comprehensive manufacturing process and innovation program. Sammy introduced innovative technologies in areas such as digital work instruction and quality inspection.

Prior to this, they served as the Senior Principle Engineer/Principal Engineer in Global Engineering & Innovation, where they led new product development and built strategic partnerships with suppliers and customers on a global scale. Sammy also managed engineering staff and supported various engineering teams.

Their earlier experience at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited as a Deputy Manager/Senior Welding Engineer involved managing a team and introducing new metal joining processes and techniques. Sammy also conducted projects and coached university students on welding conditions and their impact on microstructure and mechanical properties.

Prior to their university education, Sammy Munuswamy completed Pre-University Classes (PUC) with a Science Major, focusing on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, at Sacred Heart College (autonomous) Thirupattur-635 601.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sammy Munuswamy has obtained various certifications.
