Xavier C. has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and industries. Xavier started their career as a Trainee in aerospace control systems at the Space Systems Laboratory and NASA Goddard Space Center in 1997. Xavier then worked as an Industrial Research Fellow in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on vehicle dynamics at UC Berkeley from 2000 to 2001. Xavier joined Renault in 1997 and held several positions, including Research Engineer in chassis, powertrain, and ITS control systems, Project Manager for engine control systems, and RAMS/Functional Safety Manager for engine control systems. In 2011, Xavier joined The Manitowoc Company where they worked as a System Innovation Engineer in the Tower crane division, Senior Manager of Engineering (Software), Director of Aftermarket for Tower-Mobile cranes service telematics platform, and most recently, as the Director of Innovation for tower crane product digitalization. Xavier's work primarily involved driving innovation, designing control systems, leveraging data analysis for business cases, and developing digital platforms.

Xavier C. obtained an Executive MBA in strategy, marketing, finance, and management from emlyon business school between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Automation & control from Grenoble INP - UGA from 1997 to 2002. Xavier also holds a Master's degree in engineering, electronics, signal processing, software, power electronics, mechanics, optics, and other related fields from Télécom Physique Strasbourg, which they completed from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Physics, material science, optic, photonic, image processing from ULP Université Louis Pasteur during the same period.
