Louis Klein has a diverse background in machine learning and deep learning. Louis started their career at BGL BNP Paribas as a student job in 2016. In 2017, they completed an internship in deep learning at the Computer Science, Systems, Information and Knowledge Processing Laboratory (LISTIC). That same year, they joined Aboutgoods Company as an Assistant R&D and later transitioned into a role as a Machine Learning Engineer. During their time at Aboutgoods Company, they worked on various tasks related to computer vision, such as instance detection and tracking, pose estimation, classification, and semantic segmentation. In 2020, Louis Klein joined ManoMotion as the main deep learning engineer, responsible for designing and training models for computer vision tasks on embedded devices with resource constraints.
Louis Klein completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble from 2017 to 2020. In 2019, they also participated in an exchange semester at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, focusing on Machine Learning. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, Louis obtained a Technical Degree (Degrée Universitaire de Technologie) in Computer Science from Université Savoie Mont Blanc. In terms of additional certifications, Louis obtained a TOEIC score of 990 in May 2019 from ETS.
